Do we still have class when school is cancelled because of inclement weather?

Classes will only be cancelled because of inclement weather based on the Cherry Creek School District – when school is cancelled for the day we will not be holding classes.

What if I miss a class?

If you miss a class you are encouraged to take a make-up class. Please see our Make-Up Policy for details.

Do you have a recital? What happens if I don’t want my child to participate?

MAD has a year-end recital in the month of June. Costume fees will be charged for all children participating in recital (see costume fees, recital costumes for details). If your child is unable to participate you will need to inform the MAD receptionist by the time that costume deposits are due (see recital participation).

What should my child wear to class?

MAD has a very strict dress code that must be adhered to. Students who fail to meet dress code may be refused entrance into class without a refund (see Dress Code). Proper dance shoes and attire can be purchased through MAD.

How do I make payments or enroll in new classes once I am registered?

Payments and new enrollments can be made through your student portal. If it is your first time using the student portal, please refer to our Login Help instructional video to get started. If you are a returning user, simply login using the STUDENT PORTAL LOGIN tab.

Are parents allowed to stay and watch?

Parents may stay in the lobby area and watch class through the viewing window, but parents are NOT allowed in class except on designated Parent Observation days. Click here for more.

How do I get started?

If you are interested in enrolling in a class, simply visit our Classes section and click on register for the class you want to join. An email confirmation will be sent once you are registered, after which you can login to the Student Portal to pay any fees or enroll in new classes.

Why do I have to pay an Annual Membership Fee?

MAD has chosen to enroll students on a family basis. By doing so, we are saving you money! Most studios charge a registration fee for each student and only offer multi-class discounts on an individual basis. When you pay MAD’s Annual Membership Fee of $30, your entire family is covered and now eligible for discounts based on the amount of classes you are taking as a family, rather than on a per student basis.

What if a class that I want to enroll in is already full?

If a class you want to register in is already full, you can sign up to be put on the wait-list. Simply visit our Classes section and click on the Wait List option for the class you want to join. If a student decides to withdrawal, the next person in line on the waitlist will notified that they are eligible to enroll.

How many students does MAD allow in a class?

We at MAD understand the importance of small class sizes, allowing each student to get the necessary amount of attention to succeed. The amount of students allowed in a MAD class varies depending on age. Adult classes typically allow 18 students, while Teen, Junior, Basics, and Pre level classes only allow 12 students.

Can I try a class before I commit to enrolling?

YES! MAD offers a free trial class for all new students. If you are feeling unsure and want to get a feel for what MAD has to offer, call us to set up a trial class and then enroll worry free!

What is MAD’s refund policy?

Any students wishing to withdrawal from a class must do so by submitting a withdrawal form 7 days before the first day of the following month in order for MAD to stop any automatic monthly payments. Refunds for pre-paid classes are only given in the case of long-term injury or relocation (see our Withdrawal and Refund Policies.)
